Whether you are a competitor or a spectator, the 2007 World Police & Fire Games promises to deliver great action both on and off the playing arena. From 16 – 25 March, revel in all the fun and excitement of 79 sports, from the traditional to the more unique, and join in the nightly celebrations at the end of each day of competition.
The World Police & Fire Games is one of the world’s largest mass-participation events, eclipsing the Commonwealth Games in terms of competitor and sport numbers, so don’t miss your chance to be part of this once-in-a-lifetime event!
Spectators All 79 sporting events are FREE to the public and venues are spread right across the State. Support our local firefighters and law enforcement officers as they take on competitors from all around the world. While the Games are all about participation, the competition is set to be tough and spirited with Commonwealth and Olympic athletes, world champions and other elite athletes vying for medals. Party the night away Competitors and locals can celebrate the spirit of the Games at the Coopers Alehouse on the Torrens – Games Village from 16-24 March, under the stars on the riverbank in front of the Adelaide Convention Centre. With nightly celebrations and live entertainment, the Coopers Alehouse on the Torrens will be the true social hub of the Games. Click here to find out more.

The Soccer (Indoor) competition for the 2007 World Police & Fire Games will be conducted using ‘Futsal’ Rules. This game is not the ‘rebound form’ of the game. For information on the rules of Futsal please visit the FIFA website
There is no longer a restriction on the size of Knee Boards. The only requirement is for Knee Boards to have been designed specifically to be kneeled on.
To encourage competition, Male competitors in Division I or Division II, and female competitors in the Women's Open event, MAY also enter the Mixed Team event.
Male competitors may not play on both a Division I and Division II team.

The Ultimate Billiards & Pool Centre is the new venue for Pocket Billiards – Snooker, it is located at 17 Tapleys Hill Road, Hendon. Please note the Practice Day will also be held at this venue.
Cycling – Street Bike – Sprints has a new start time. The event will now be held from 1400-1800 on Saturday 24 March 2007. The venue has not changed.
